The Planar 6 has one goal, to reproduce your vinyl as accurately as possible. We have engineered every aspect of this turntable to extract as much detail from the vinyl surface as possible. Advanced materials and engineering solutions have been used throughout the design to ensure the greatest level of performance.The Neo PSU offers electronic speed change, advanced anti-vibration control and user adjustable electronic fine speed adjustment only found on the RP10 until now. The Planar 6 RS Edition (Rega Special) adopts many key engineering features from the next tier Planar 8 model whilst retaining the classic Rega form factor and dustcover. The ultra lightweight high rigidity plinth makes the perfect platform to mount the precision RB880 tonearm which is factory fitted and expertly aligned with one of two award winning cartridge options depending on taste, the Nd9 moving magnet cartridge or the Ania moving coil.
